How we work with you

The first step is to find out what the problem is and how we can help. A chat over the phone or a coffee works perfectly, then we can work out the best approach to solve your problem.

The following is an overview of our web design process. This process is a flexible framework that will be tailored to suit your needs such as:

  • Budget
  • Time frames
  • Your actual requirements (If you have already undertaken a lot of the ‘discovery’ work we won’t repeat it and charge you)
  • A flexible process (You can pause at the end of a stage or even bring us in for part of the process)
  • Other design element needs (such as branding)

Foundation

The foundation of this whole process is to uncover our clients’ unique essence. Essentially we need to find out as much about you and your customers and define the problem we are trying to solve. To do this we explore key areas such as:

  • Your core values, vision and beliefs
  • What differentiates your products and services in the eyes of your target market and customers?
  • What is your brand story?
  • How do you make emotional connections with customers, employees and suppliers?
  • What are your aspirations?

Outline

Together we will write a full design brief and scope for your project.

Once we have learnt all about you and uncovered the problems we are trying to solve we will define the brief practically by:

  • Deciding the number of site pages you may need
  • How your customer will find your site
  • How your customers will navigate your site
  • The features and technology you may need

This all helps us define what the success of the project looks like and keeps us on track to achieve it.

Uncovering

By using the brief we have defined and the ‘visual tone of voice’ of your business, we will translate our findings into something tangible, and get going with the creative aspects.

  • How can we use creativity so solve your problem?
  • What is the website going to look like?
  • How does your brand work with the new site?

Nuts and bolts

It’s now time to develop the creative aspects into a fully working site.

Deliver and beyond

The Last step is to launch the site to the world! This stage is about rolling out your new website.
